  3. Before my husband reverted to Islam, we committed Zina, i can’t recall if it happened again after he reverted, but is our marriage religiously valid. We did agree that it wouldn’t happen again not until we are religiously married and now we are married with a marriage that meets the Islamic requirements.
Do we need to repeat the Islamic vows to one another (after repenting) before deciding to have any kids so that our kids and marriage are halal and religiously accepted?

(We haven’t done anything since we got married, for the fear of god, guilt and repentance for what happened. I’m scared if we do it that’s it’s considered Zina, I really want to get rid of that Shak in my Nafs to be able to give him his needs and live a marriage life according to the book of God with him)?

  4. Is it prohibit in islam for women to do jobs ? And if so then we know that our prophet’s first wife was also a renowned business women in Arab. Then why it is prohibited for women? Or not prohibited?

Did she quit her business after marrying prophet or did prophet make her quit her business after marriage?

And also there is no government platform where only women can work or the working institution is only with women workers. Of course the subordinates or the supervisors maybe male or maybe female. So, in this case if I work in my own cabin and maintain my hijab and only for working officials If I talk to my male bosses or male subordinates will it be haram for me?
I am really worried and getting afraid and should I quit my job?

N.B. : I don’t talk to my officials outside any office work like now-a-days chitchat among males and females.

  5. Assalam alaykum,
    Regarding verses 21:33 and 36:40.
It is difficult to understand that how quran claim the sun and the moon moving its axis with rotation.

In these Verses the word mention “yasbahun” mean swimming (moving one place another).

How can we get the meaning it’s moving along with the rotation.

As mentioned in Dr.Zahir Naik explanation. The root word of yasbahun is “sabaha” it mention that motion of moving body.
Is it okay to get the meaning of the given word from Root word.
Event hough we are taking meaning from Root word. It has many meaning how can we choose some particular needed defination.

    Please explain
    Jazakallahukhair.

My question is that can zakat be approximated, for example i have 100g of gold can i approximate the 2.5% or it is needed to be exact? or can i do a little above 2.5 so that approximation don’t fall short.

    JazakAllah

  8. I know purchasing haram chicken, turkey, meat cat food is haram. Only fish cat food is permissible. If someone gives me haram cat food I am able to use them right?
Also, there’s an food bank where the give free stuff, can I go there willingly to collect food for my cats and me sometimes, but mostly for my cats. For myself, I know I have to eat halal regardless. But for my cats when I go there to pick it up, can they eat haram food?

Is it a sign of low iman as I am not selecting same things for my brother as I select for myself

  12. Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakathuhu, I’m Rahmath from India, Alhamdulillah myself n my husband are students of word for word Qur’an since 7 years, I know that having a beard is sunnah but my husband has really long(approx 15-20 cm) ungroomed for 7 years, that ruins his personality and makes his look way more older than he is actually . I requested him to trim whatever remains out of his fist but he refuses saying its not permitted just to leave the way it grows, As a husband he should be pleasing and attractive to his wife but this is really making dispute or argument and ends up in fight, this is affecting our marital life. I’m not against his beard but I want him to trim n groom a little so that he appears good to my eyes.. he used to be handsome and charming but I really miss him the way he used to be before. Hope u understand. Kindly guide us on this issue.

  13. Selam aleykum Sheikh,
I wanted to ask you in regards to a fraud which was done to me. It was a ponzy/scam/pyramide system where someone introduced me to. He made marketing for it and encouraged me to invest in it.
At the end i lost all my money. The person says he is free of any responsibility, but he has more than the means to pay me at least the half of it(not even all) so he has a lot of money, but doesnt want to pay me back.

What is the ruling on the Person? Does he have to pay me any money back or is he complete sinless?

    BarakAllahu feek

  19. Assalam alaykum sheikh, I ain’t so fluent at reciting the Qur’an in the Arabic text and so I often use the transliteration, thought I am learning to read in the Arabic text.
Does it reduce my reward if I read in transliteration or ain’t accepted at all in Islam??
